Bassendean Local Elections
Final recount results, Oct 16 2011

I am a resident of Bassendean for more than 13 years*,
a past councillor for almost 3 years,
active member of many community organisations,
member of Urban Development Institute of Australia (UDIA),
and Chair of the Village Green Community Foundation &
Mining Families Foundation for the FIFO workforce.

I have hands-on keen experience in renewable energy,
light rail, automated mining, stormwater management,
growing more trees, LED lighting, community security and
better urban design outcomes that suits our Swan River and
3 TOD railway stations , just minutes from the City
and soon Perth airport.

www.catracing.net
is simple fun on the Swan River
with P&C's/P&F's from Ashfield Primary, Bassendean Primary,
Casa MIa Moontessori,
St Michaels and
Eden Hill Primary Schools.
I supplied the cats (and cars)
plus pop up banners for each school and parents came in support of their kids.

New events include the world record attempt for the most
rubber powered planes
flying at the same time..

The trees of Bassendean
come in all shapes and sizes
from the magnificent 170 year
old Morton Bay Fig tree above
to the many plantings along the
Swan, in the reserves and the
Bush Forever areas.

As a member of the
Bassendean Preservation
Group, I arranged the
sponsorship of some 5000
seedlings to support the environment. I also promoted
the establishment of the new
Tree Committee..
CCTV and GPS are
well accepted community
support and management
tools for a healthy, caring town.

The vision from my camera system has been used in numerous court cases for
a safer community.

The mobile phone CCTV
system at the Ashfield Sports
Club has dramatically curbed
their break & enter crime rate.
I believe in GPS with duress
alarms to protect our staff.

The new MRA
about to start making
a difference.

The State Government is
striving for better urban design
and better 'Liveable neighbourhood' options.

The new Metropolitan
Redevelopment Authority
starts operations in Jan 2012.
Expect to see good
environmental design,
for commercial projects
& homes in Ashfield.
As a strong supporter
of local industry,
my involvement
won a Solar LED light
award, Valencia Spain
in 2010 for "the solar
light that walks smart

This is
soon to be an export
opportunity.

In June 2011, I gave
a paper on energy
efficient Light Rail
Systems in China with
